This braindead article from the Heritage Foundation (but I repeat myself) bounces between two opposing, mutually exclusive positions better than a goddamned SuperBall. It seems to take the position that the “War on Poverty” is a complete failure, yet cites the attached graphic as evidence of the “assets” that so-called poor people actually have! I mean, how can you possibly be considered poor if you have a thirteen year-old “video game system”, a falling-apart 1995 Chevy Cavalier, and a microwave you bought for ten bux at GoodWill?
Or, for that matter, that you dare to still have nice things you purchased before you were laid off a year ago? You’re POOR! You’re not allowed to have assets!
Literally guillotine the entire Heritage Foundation. What an abhorrent organization.
